about

Artwork: Djosla
Recorded in Nidaros studio during one day, with a very prepeared and focused crew, Christian Schreiner was in charge of recording guitars, background vocals and spice sounds and playing synth on some of the tracks, vocal work the last we did before christian mixed it all.

lyrics

You Say...

For how long must I wait for you !
With hope and patience steadily
increasing
Soon disappearing - !
I once put all my faith in you
but now I feel the time is due
For parting !

I was talking to you on the phone
I thought: there’s something wrong
there’s something under cover
Something sour…
For chrissake, tell the truth !
This feeling insecure
Takes all my power

You say you want to be free - !
But in that Norwegian Dream
where you are living
You’ll end up emptyhanded
to late to understand it
What it really means to be free -!

Here’s the weather fine
my job’s all right
The income is high enough
to manage
And I manage !
But this feeling dobbel-crossed
the returning of that
wellknown ghost
- haunting me !

You play it cool with no regrets
people’s just some pets for you
to play with
-And you like it !
The freedom that you cling to, babe
Isn’t worth a dime the day
your’re all alone..!

He lives by a bootleg philosofy, where atmosphere and soul connection in studio and stage is more important than perfection and equilibrity. Playing on routing and making albums to perfection, where poetry smooth in with overrehearsed cords, is not only a vast of money, but also a vaste of mind. ... more
